At Brightmont Academy, we identify and support the needs of each student, whether they struggle with depression and/or anxiety, learning disabilities, health issues or other special needs.

Brightmont’s educational model is mastery-based, empowering students to actively engage in their studies at their own pace while being challenged and supported throughout the learning process. Meet Cale Dunlap

Broomfield Campus Director

Before joining the fantastic team at Brightmont Academy, Cale was engaged in running a successful education company that he founded at the beginning of the recent global pandemic to provide families access to high-quality individualized education. Cale has had diverse experiences as an administrator and as a teacher. He has taught at every grade level from K-12, both in the US and abroad.

Cale is passionate about individualized education, financial literacy, and supporting neurodiverse learners. Continuous learning has been an important pursuit for Cale, as he has studied at several universities, including while serving as a linguist and civil engineer in the US Air Force.

As an education entrepreneur, teacher, and administrator, Cale has one core value that supersedes all others:

“Doing the right thing for the student is ALWAYS the right thing for the school.”

Cale is very happy to be working with an organization like Brightmont Academy, which shares this ethos.
